PROTEST pulls audio from a 2024 action against Israel’s continued genocide of the Palestinian people. Declarations of liberation are mingled with sounding trumpets, infusing the gallery space with the protest space. Viewers are invited to stand on the sculpture and feel the vibrations of this resistance. Sounds of horns and music come from members of Bread and Puppet Theatre and Rude Mechanical Orchestra.
